Obsession Vintage Travel Trailers.

So, for my birthday that was way back in September my Husband let me buy a 1966 Trailblazer travel trailer.   I am in love with it and obsessed with how I might redo it next spring. I stalk vintage trailer websites.  So, if by some microscopic chance any one is reading this blog you are going to be subjected to this obession.   Here it is the day we picked her up:

Somehow my Husband caught the bug but hates vintage travel trailers.  He liked this vintage motorhome:

So we bought it three days later. 

What is wrong with us?   Well I figure the motorhome is for actual camping/traveling and the little tin can I get to keep as all mine.  Decorate it however I want.   Make it Angry Jen's Playhouse!    Since I got a Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker for Christmas I am looking foward to Summer in the tin can so much more!

Why I don't/won't watch "The Office"

Seriously, I live it every day why the heck would I want to watch it on tv and be forced to view more work related drama when on my own time?   I have some doubts about accepting co-workers friends requests on facebook also.   But, I do it.  I am polite enough not to snub them completely because ultimately I spend more time with them each week than I do my own family.    But, it just gets on my nerves.  I have been off for a week on vacation.  I didn't go and do vacationy things, just celebrated Christmas with the family and was a bum.  Today a co-worker posts this on FB  "When I open up my mouth, I sure can get myself in trouble, even though I didn't try to be a bitch I guess I was."   Of course I would like to respond with how I honestly feel.    I haven't been at work and I don't even need to know anything else.  Yes, you were trying to be a bitch and when it came back to bite you in the bum you start having a pitty party.    So predictable.

Attempts at being crafty today

I tried being crafty.  I made this cute little banner....

I also attempted at making another sign.  Used a different kind of paint and it peeled.  UGH!

My D key on the laptop is sticking.  It's very annoying.  If any word is missing a D it's because I didn't notice and didn't go back and hit the D key hard enough.  UGH again!  I'm just full of those today.  

Then I found this funny yet disturbing drawing when I typed in "Figgy Pudding" in the search engine when looking for my all time favorite Christmas Scrapbook paper. 

Do you notice how the little guy looks like he's soaking in a hot tub? Just a tad creepy.    Maybe I should turn "safe search" back on.

To Resolute or not?

RESOLUTE.  It's a word, I'm not making it up.   I may not be using it appropriately but it's a word.   I don't have big ambitions for New Year's Resolutions.  Never ever stick to them.   Over all I just want to be less stressed out.   Ha, don't we all?   Figuring out how to do that is the problem.   Sigh!  Anyone got any magic tricks up their sleeves?
