The loss of a great friend

On January 8th 2011 one of our closest friends died in an accident out at an oil rig. It has been a hard week for my Husband and I. The world will never been the same. Roscoe was the life of the party. He knew how to live life to the fullest. His baby girl is 7 months old today. It's going to be hard to move on. I feel as though a piece of my heart is missing. I hear that it gets easier with time. I know it's only been a week and a half but it hurts more every day. I think about his girlfriend raising that precious baby without him and I cry. I think about the plans we had, we were going to go zip lining and to the Sturgis motorcycle rally, and camping, fishing, hunting. Rest In Peace Roscoe. You will forever be in our hearts.

Tired

I am dead tired today. I can't believe how being off for a week gets me so out of sorts that even on day three back to work I am still feeling it.

On another note, these are some owls I found either at an auction or a thrift store over the summer, can't remember which. Have I mentioned I freakin' love spray paint?

That is exactly one f the reasons I want to get my little oasis set up. I can scrapbook and craft in there. Also, if I ever stay home from the office I can work in there and stay on track. It would be a dream come true to get to work from home. Especially if my office space was 100%mine. I found a post in blogland regarding the following photos.

OH what a day and more trailer love

Well it was my first day back to work a little over a weeks vacation of doing NOTHING.  Right off the bat the day started out CRAP-E.  My mini van wouldn't start this morning.  I had to call a co-worker and great friend for a ride.  Thank goodness she was available to pick me up.  Work itself wasn't so bad.  I needed to get back into the routine of doing something constructive besides relaxing, but at about 11:30 I was so ready for a nap.  Maybe I should have taken an extra day. 

Ok now for my favorite part.  Trailer Love.   This has to be one of my favorite interior redo's.  I love love love the colors.  The fabric for the cushions is so fun.

Just some inspiration for this spring when I start to redo my trailer.  

I have so many photo's saved and I didn't do a good job of remembering where I found them to give credit.   Beautifully done, I can't wait to create my oasis.
